Step Up Stroud!

Businesses in the Stroud district met over a free glass of wine and a summer supper to learn from experts who shared the latest information about money, marketing and motivation Employers from across the Stroud district were able to get free advice from top marketing experts such as web designer Paul Lock, co-founder of Epicado, and Ben Allen whose experience has been gained from working with international companies such as Orange. The ticket-only free event also covered other topics including business tax, leadership and affordable skills development. Attendees also had the opportunity to share their thoughts on Stroud's local business environment with David Owen, Chief Executive of Gloucestershire First. "We've brought together some key people to give local employers the information they need to help move their business forward; a step-up, so they are in the very best position to take advantage of future opportunities", said event organiser Carole Garfield from Stroud's Chamber of Trade and the county's Three Sector Match.
