The newly launched Fairford Community Centre benefitted from the business expertise of Dave Godfrey from AVIDD over the festive period. The Centre, which works closely with the Town Council, St Mary’s Church and statutory and voluntary groups, provides a range of services and facilities for the local community. Margaret Bishop, the Centre Co ordinator said “Dave helped us identify how much would be needed to cover running costs and maintenance - it was really reassuring to hear that he thought our building could earn enough. Then he gave lots of good ideas as to how we might increase our lettings without needing more volunteer help. We will certainly follow these up and this will help us to make best use of our proposed new Centre Manager”.
